We’ll take the time to answer your questions and walk you through the Migraine Procedure step-by-step, so you have all the information you need to decide if this is the right option for you.

We accept most commercial insurance plans as well as Medicare. Our dedicated patient care team is here to guide you through every step of the insurance process, working directly with your provider; our goal is to make the experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.
What is the trial procedure?
The trial is the first step to discover whether this treatment brings you meaningful migraine relief. During the short, outpatient procedure, our team places temporary leads under the skin near the nerves that can trigger migraines. You’ll use the device for about 3–5 days to experience how it feels and track your relief. Most people can return to their regular routine within a day or two.
What happens during the permanent procedure?
If the trial provides meaningful relief, as it does for the majority of our patients, we’ll move forward with scheduling the permanent procedure. This next step is very similar to the trial, but with one key difference: the leads and a small battery are placed just beneath the skin for a more discreet, long-term solution.
What is the recovery timeline?
Everyone heals at their own pace, but most patients find recovery to be smooth and manageable.
Trial: Most patients can resume normal activities within a few days.
Perm: Most patients return to light activity in about 1 to 2 week, with fully recovery typically within 4 to 6 weeks.
